Arizona Technical College opening in the Verde Valley
A new teaching/learning facility called the “Arizona Technical College” has located at 154 S. Main Street in Cottonwood. The aim of the College is to offer technical courses in classes of from four to ten students. Courses it anticipates offering include: Hospitality Management, Residential and Light Commercial Air Conditioning, Microsoft Office Specialist, Information Technology Support, Medical Office Administration, Medical Billing and Coding, and more.
The school located in the Verde Valley because of a perceived unmet training needs. The schools is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution.
